Now in its 13th edition, the EconoMia Competition is open to students enrolled in the final two years of Italian high schools, including Licei, Technical Institutes, Vocational Schools, and the last year of regional Vocational Education and Training programs.
Winners will receive a prize of €200 and a pass to attend the 2025 International Festival of Economics in Turin, where they will be honored during a dedicated ceremony.
To learn more and to register your class, please review the competition rules (https://concorsoeconomia.it/regolamento/) and apply via this link: https://concorsoeconomia.it/iscrizione-scuole/.
This will be an excellent opportunity to reflect—in a fun and engaging way—on the changes affecting the social and economic lives of future generations, and to participate in a major event.
Registration is open until April 4, 2025.
The competition is promoted by the Torino Local Committee (TOLC), Editori Laterza, Fondazione Collegio Carlo Alberto, Fondazione per la Scuola and Compagnia di San Paolo – Obiettivo Persone – Missione Educare, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Merit – Directorate General for School Ordinances, Evaluation, and the Internationalization of the National Education System, Museo del Risparmio, Fondazione Giovanni Agnelli, the “Bodoni” Technical Economic Institute of Parma, and AEEE-Italia.
A series of introductory events leading up to the Festival, designed to explore various applications of economic theories and spark students’ interest in issues vital to their future.
Curated by the Collegio Carlo Alberto faculty and the Education Area of the Unione Industriali Torino.
